The Resilience Project

The Resilience Project | By Jamie Andrews

Your set backs don't have to define your future

After a serious football injury ended my playing career, I spent years struggling in silence, hiding how I really felt behind a smile.

Today, I’m turning that experience into a positive message for the next generation. Through honest talks and interactive workshops, I help young people build resilience, navigate challenges and understand that asking for help is a strength.

From school assemblies to college workshops and sports clubs, my mission is simple: to help people realise that they’re not alone, and their setbacks don't have to define them.

Inspiring talks and interactive sessions

From school classrooms to sports academies and corporate offices, we offer tailored speaking sessions focused on emotional well-being, dealing with setbacks, and honest communication.

Schools & youth groups

Interactive talks designed for students to normalise conversations about mental health, overcome social anxiety, and build healthy coping mechanisms early.

Sports teams & athletes

Focussed sessions on handling injuries, performance pressure, overcoming defeat, and strengthening mental toughness both on and off the pitch.

Workplace resilience talks

Engaging corporate keynotes breaking the silence around workplace stress, fostering open dialogue, and creating supportive team cultures.

Overcoming setbacks & injury

Personal, relatable insights into dealing with life-changing obstacles, sudden injuries, and finding purpose and strength when things go wrong.

"The talk completely changed the atmosphere among our young players. It showed them that vulnerability isn't weakness—it is genuine strength."

While our message resonates with people of all ages, our primary focus is young people, school students, and sports teams who are navigating pressure, setbacks, and mental health challenges.

Our sessions focus on resilience, overcoming life setbacks and injuries, tackling internal objections, and why opening up and talking is the ultimate superpower.

Sessions typically run between 45 to 90 minutes, including an interactive Q&A where participants are encouraged to share and ask questions in a safe environment.
